For instance, in **2005 (1384 Iranian calendar)**, only 530 umbilical cord blood stem cell samples were stored by Royan Stem Cell Technology Company; whereas, the number of applicants for umbilical cord blood storage in **2025 (1404 Iranian calendar)** has increased to over 230,000 applicants.
