According to Public Relations, the TV series "Ala" is broadcast every night at 8:30 PM on Channel 3. Reruns of this series are also aired three times the next day, at 12:30 AM, 10 AM, and 2 PM. Each episode tells a different story that revolves around childbirth, pregnancy, and the concerns and challenges of young couples to have children, depicting them with a realistic view; from economic problems to social pressures that have made the path to parenthood difficult for many families.

In episode 14 of this series, it addresses the illness of Pedram, a child from a family, whose only way to be saved is through cord blood stem cells, which the parents did not store at birth. The series then continues to show the process of treating this child with cord blood.
