The 4^th round of IPH Conference and Exhibition was held here in Theran, IRIB International Conference Center on 3-5 September 2025 through which the hospitals and healthcare centers involved with international patients made their presence by holding up their stands.

The 5th National Seminar on Alternatives to Laboratory Animals Technologies, in collaboration with Royan Cord Blood Bank, the Research and Technology Deputy of Academic Jihad, the Ministerial Ethics in Research Working Group of the Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education, Royan Institute, and the Ethics in Research Working Group of Academic Jihad and its University of Science and Culture, will be held on June 18th and 19th in person with retraining points at the International Conference Hall of the University of Science and Culture.

In this note, while examining Iran's population statistics, we will look at the social and health consequences of the declining birth rate, the increase in single-child and childless families, and finally, the role that Royan Cord Blood Bank can play in the future health of the country.

On April 20, 2025, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy of Bu Ali Sina University in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, Dr. Ramzan Safarzadeh, visited the Embryonic Stem Cell Technology Company (RSCT), which was followed by a meeting with the CEO of the Embryonic Stem Cell Technology Company.

During this meeting, the parties discussed areas of mutual interest, while recounting and referring to the cultural-historical commonalities between the two countries, the history of economic and scientific interactions, as well as the potentials existing in both countries.

In the continuation of this meeting, Dr. Zarrabi, CEO of the Embryonic Stem Cell Technology Company, referred to the capabilities available in the company and the recent advances that have been made in the field of using umbilical cord blood stem cells to treat many incurable diseases and products derived from the obstetric appendages, some of which have been possible to extract with the help of the company's scientists and researchers, and announced the readiness of the Embryonic Stem Cell Technology Company for scientific interaction with the Bu Ali Sina University in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, and the Ministry of Health of Tajikistan.

According to public relation of RSCT, the 25th Royan Congress on Reproductive Medicine and 20th Royan Congress on Stem Cell Biology & Technology was held in Shahid Beheshti University Gathering Hall on 28th to 30th August 2024, here in Tehran, Iran, which was supported by Royan Stem Cell Technology Company (RSCT).

 

Dr.Shahverdi, the Head of Royan Institute, stated that this event has provided the Iranian young researchers with an appropriate ground of getting familiar with the latest international achievements and progress made in the realm of their interests and also introduced the potentials laid down in  the heart of Royan Research Institute and Iran scientific bodies to international communities.

 

There were more than 33 scientists and researchers from almost all around the world, including America, England, Germany, Austria, Italy, Turkey, China, Russia, Japan, Sweden, Switzerland, Qatar and India, coming together in this year of Royan Congress. There were also more than 420 article abstracts submitted to the congress among which there were 186 articles in the field of infertility, 149 articles in stem cells and 46 articles in the realm of nursing and midwifery.

 

The 6th Kazemi Prize was awarded to Professor Thomas Braun, a notable scientist from Germany whose interest is concerned with stem cells and Dr.Nicolas Riowron from Austria, the young reputable scientist whose field of activity is laboratory embryo.

 

According to the public relations and international affairs, this scientific congress will focus on the consequences of assisted reproductive techniques (ART Outcome), as a branch of the International Congress of Royan. The goal is to address the latest scientific achievements in this field on a global level and specifically focus on the countries in the WANA [West Asia and North Africa] region. The conference aims to promote joint scientific research in this area.
