Cryopreserving of 5000 Cord Blood Stem Cells Samples in the first quarter of the year

According to public relation, in the first three months of the year, more than 5460 contracts were made out of which 5000 samples were stored successfully.
 
On their arrival to RSCT, the samples will be processed according to the volume and cell count which should be at least 50CC in volume and 600 million cells to meet the international standards. If the sample cannot meet such international standards, the family will be informed and the contract is considered as terminated.
 
Those which pass through the process lab in full success will go through other laboratory procedures including microbial test, colony assay, flow Cytometry and so forth. The ones gone through such procedures in full success will be stored for a long time and in special cryopreserving tanks in -196 degree.
